Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for participating in the Global Photo Project, organized by Peter Forsgård. By registering and submitting your photographs, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
Participation
1.1. Eligibility: The Global Photo Project is open to individuals of all ages and skill levels worldwide. No participation fee is required.
1.2. Submission Date: All photographs must be taken on August 19th, 2024.
1.3. Registration: Participants must register on the project website to receive updates and submission instructions.
2. Submission Requirements
2.1. Date and Metadata: The photograph must be taken on August 19th, 2024, and include metadata with the correct date.
2.2. Content: Photographs can be of any subject, as long as they are legal in the participant's country. No nudity or improper content will be accepted.
2.3. Authenticity: AI-generated images are prohibited. Adding or removing elements using tools like Generative Fill is not allowed. Basic editing and cropping are permitted.
2.4. Model Releases: Participants must obtain and submit signed model releases if the photograph includes recognizable individuals.
3. Copyright and Usage
3.1. Copyright: Participants retain full copyright of their submitted images.
3.2. Permission: By submitting a photograph, participants grant Peter Forsgård and the Global Photo Project permission to use the image in the book, on the project website, in exhibitions, and on all Social Media accounts (current and future ones) for promotional purposes, and in Peter Forsgard’s YouTube channel Live streams, with proper credit given.
3.3. Non-exclusive License: Participants grant a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display the submitted images for the abovementioned purposes.
4. Selection and Publication
4.1. Selection: Peter Forsgård will select the photographs to be included in the book and online gallery. Due to volume, not all submissions may be included.
4.2. Publication: Selected photographs will be compiled into a book, likely available on Blurb. Proceeds from the book will be donated to a charitable cause, with transparency about costs and profits maintained.
5. Privacy and Data Protection
5.1. Data Usage: Participant emails and personal information will only be used for project-related communications and will not be shared with third parties.
5.2. Privacy: All personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

6. Dispute Resolution
6.1. Jurisdiction: Any disputes or disagreements will be resolved under the jurisdiction of the Finnish legal system.
6.2. Compliance: The project adheres to all applicable laws and regulations of Finland.
7. Liability
7.1. Disclaimer: Peter Forsgård and the Global Photo Project are not responsible for any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from participation in the project.
7.2. Indemnification: Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Peter Forsgård and the Global Photo Project from any claims arising from the use of submitted photographs.
7.3. Responsibility for Local Laws: Participants are responsible for ensuring that their photography activities comply with local laws and regulations. The Global Photo Project is not liable for any misconduct, accidents, or legal violations that may occur while taking photographs.
8. Changes to Terms
8.1. Modifications: These Terms and Conditions may be updated or modified without prior notice. Participants are encouraged to review the Terms periodically.
9. Acceptance of Terms
9.1. Agreement: By registering and submitting a photograph, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
