The book is now available from Blurb. A total of 513 images photographed on August 19th were sent in time. 120 of them were chosen for the book. Only about 23% of the photographs sent made the cut.

It was quite a hard job to decide which photos should be included. When choosing the photographs, I did not look at who the photographer was or where they were from. The images were selected only based on their quality. I think it is the most fair way to do it. I hope those whose photos were not chosen think something was wrong with their image. On the contrary, I think the overall quality was excellent.

Making the book and choosing the order of the images was not easy either. I tried to make the spreads look interesting and find images that work well together. Some spreads are better than others. All images were chosen as individual images. I did not pick images because some would go well with another image. I think that would have been unfair. Images for this type of project should be chosen for their own merits.

The book is also available in PDF, so I decided to offer that option, too. Unfortunately, the price of the book is quite high. The print quality is very good, which is a must when we are talking about a photo book. The number of pages is 122, also added to the cost.
